Invited: Vicki Browning is a community activist and heavily involved in the Cefn Golau Together programme, funded by the Big Lottery. If she can make it, she will be leading the discussion around the re-use of plastics and plastic-based products in our local communities. She has established a successful and environmentally friendly online business, Orions Reusables.
Given China will no longer accept our difficult recyclable rubbish streams, what can and should we do with them? Can we come up with policies that will benefit our communities and take the pressure off our local councils? Could there even be opportunities for job creation and supporting much needed local enterprises?
